this is the development version of perl 5.7.1 I have found it to be quite stable
but please read the readme_1st.amiga and remember this is a development version
for perl 5.8.0!
there is no man pages included in this archive (the pod files are!)

there is a known bug, but it is explained in the readme_1st.amiga

this is also the last perl for the amiga.
