Short: AIBB 6.5 module for the Blizzard 1260 Author: mat@cu-amiga.demon.co.uk Uploader: mat cu-amiga demon co uk Type: util/moni Architecture: m68k-amigaos This is the second module generated by AIBB 6.5 with the Phase 5 Blizzard 1260 installed. Consisting of a 50Mhz 68060 and 4MB of 60nS RAM, AIBB had to be run in a particular mode to avoid crashing. It's the second one so that the patcher can take care of patching all the code on the first execution. Well that's the theory anyway... Note; Since AIBB 6.5 doesn't look to be getting an update any time soon, why doesn't someone else come up with a modern benchmarking package that understands the 68060? It had to be forced to believe that the CPU was a 68000 with no MMU and a 68882 CPU. That means it couldn't be tested with 68040 FPU code. :-/ Oh well, it still shows generally how fast the unit in real terms. AIBB is still a darn comprehensive benchmark. Plug mode; For a full and comprehensive review, checkout the March edition of CU Amiga Magazine. Oh yes, it is quite nippy isn't it? Still it would want to be at the price... Mat Bettinson.
