Pedantic Patch
==============
One of the things that really pisses me off is when journalists can't
get the difference between "disc" and "disk" right. I don't know
why - it's just the sort of "pedantic asshole" that I am - but
it really winds me up.
Just for the record Amiga Format has, to my knowledge, never got
the distinction between their Coverdiscs and their Coverdisks
wrong... Well done...!
Anyway I winced once when my beloved Amiga turned wrong and said to me
"No disk is present in device CD0". Of course there isn't a bloody
disk (diskette) in the CD drive - it certainly wouldn't do it much good
if there was... So I patched it for the sake of sanity and in the name
of pedanticism.
You'll need to "run <>nil: pedantic_patch" - shove it in the user-startup
or main startup-sequence...
Oh, btw, this will only work with english machines since the strings will
change depending on your localisation (I think).
OK, so I'm petty... ;)
love & kisses,
