Logger is a simple replacement for logout command of
multiuser filesystem. It has been written a very long
time ago for an Amiga 3000 station of Padua University.
I always forgot to upload to Aminet but finally I do.
It uses all parameters of logout command plus "SCREEN",
so you can redirect log panel to a public screen.
So in my startup I have "Logger GUI GLOBAL SCREEN=PublicScreen",
this way it is possible to boot Amiga with a nice picture and
open the log panel on the picture screen.
There are many programs that open a boot screen as public screen,
but pay attention that the no-border window of boot screen must be
a smart refresh one or screen will be corrupted by panel (!);
panel use the first 4 palette colours for details so for better
visual results you have also to remap picture palette to fix
this 4 colours as you prefer.
For more infos on logout parameters read multiuser docs.
PS) There's also an IMAGE parameter available in command line
for image loading as background of the log panel but this
feature is not yet available - maybe in the future.
