This archive contains extended startup files for C='s Ed 2.00 v37.11
which, when copied to S: as "ed-startup", give the user access to many
more of Ed's built in commands than the original startup file does.
While for English-speaking users, the same effect can be achieved by
renaming or deleting the 'S:ed-startup' file, the files supplied herewith
are of special interest to German-speaking users: they supply Ed with a
partial localization without patching the actual program file, so built-in
strings are still in English.
Note: Ed itself is not included for copyright reasons 8-)

Dieses Archiv enthält erweiterte Startup-Dateien für C='s Ed 2.00 v37.11,
welche Ed zu umfangreichen, deutschen Menüs verhelfen, wodurch wesentlich
mehr der eingebauten Funktionen über Menüs erreichbar sind als mit der
mitgelieferten Startup-Datei. Da Ed nicht gepatcht wird, sind jedoch einige
Texte nach wie vor in Englisch, die Eindeutschung ist also nicht ganz
vollständig.
Bemerkung: Ed ist aus rechtlichen Gründen nicht enthalten 8-)
