 In Kantian philosophy, that aspect of a thing which has reality
 beyond perceptual knowledge and can never be known.
 
 I believe that came from Kant's Critique Of Pure Reason. Or may
 Critique Of Practical Reason. Forgot. Too many years ago.
 
 Still it does (to a degree) describe this picture. Whoever did
 this picture spent a lot of time and effort. I must applaud both.
 I know the time it takes sometimes to explore Kantian philosophy.
 Besides I like the picture. That is why I kept it until now.
