LessSeek
You can forget the slow hd-boot & any other, when they are validating and
booting up at the same time. It will keep your winchester head-stepping
motor for the next 100 years too...and you can avoid some program failure.
(For example: one program would like to read a file from an unvalidated and
possibly corrupt volume.)
It looks around and waits until ALL disk devices are validated. But if a disk
device can't be validated LessSeek will wait for a CTRL C. And the startup
will go on...
New:
1.2 - It doesn't fail when active partitions with custom filesystems are
present. (i.e. MSDOS).
And all in 760 bytes...
