ArcMaster is an BBS utility which allows users to view and handle
archives online. With ArcMaster BBS users can for example :
- View contents of files in archives. For example with
MoreText (included) users can read text files and
AmigaGuides inside archives!
- Pack selected files to a new archive.
This new archive is then be placed into user's home
directory for downloading or further processing.
- Extract files from archive. These files are also
placed in user's home directory for downloading / processing.
SysOp can add own commands to do different things with files in archives
or with the archive itself. These commands can be protected with access
restrictions (mask system), so you can have commands which can be executed
only locally etc...
ArcMaster can be made to work under any good BBS software,
which supports running of DOS programs and has some kind of user
home directory or similar system.
Version 0.72 - First public release.
