WHAT IS THIS THING? ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ The object of this program is to show the orbits of planets, satellites and comets and to move them along own orbits. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Any Amiga with some memory and kickstart 1.2 or higher DiskFont.library MathTrans.library The ACTDM.SS file (that contains some datas) must be in the same directory of Solar System FEATURES - SWITCHES ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ In the main menu there are 5 options: 1> SIMULATION This option allow to start a simulation. You can choose which planets or satellites to show (in the program: DO YOU WANT THE SPRITE OF PLANE... and DO YOU WANT THE SPRITE OF SATELLITE...). You can choose also to show the name of planets (in the program: DO YOU WANT THE NAME OF PLANETS?) near the sprites, to draw the orbits of planets and satellites (in the program: DO YOU WANT THE DRAWING OF ORBITS?). At the end, you can insert the time's interval between a position and the subsequent position (in the program: DAYS' INTERVAL:) and if the inserted datas are right (in the program: ARE DATAS RIGHT?) the simulation starts. To return to main menu you can press the left mouse button or the ESC key. 2> INFORMATION ABOUT THE PLANETS This option allow to get some informations of planets and satellites. For this it's enough insert the number of planets (in the program: PLANET'S CODE:). The informations that you can get for each planets are: MAJOR SEMI-AXIS, MINOR SEMI-AXIS, ECCENTRICITY, SPEED IN KM/S, RADIUS (DISTANCE BETWEEN PLANET AND SUN). The distance is in Astronamic Unit and the Sideral Period is in years. To return to main menu you can press the left mouse button or the ESC key. 3> SHOW LAST SIMULATION This option allow to show a picture of the last simulation. To return to main menu you can press the left mouse button or the ESC key. 4> QUIT Bye, bye! 5> QUIT AND SAVE LAST SIMULATION (ILBM) This option allow to save if you want (in the program: SAVE IFF FILE?) an IFF-ILBM picture of the last simulation before to quit from the program. BUGS ¯¯¯¯ To show the pictures saved with the option number 5 "QUIT AND SAVE LAST SIMULATION (ILBM)" you must load a graphic tool like Deluxe Paint, Personal Paint etc..., select a 320x256 screen with 4 colors and then load the picture. Save the pictture if you want show it with other programs (PPSHOW, FILE MASTER etc...).
