This program allows to create indexes of reduced pictures. It offers many
possibilities and has some features that other programs of this type have
not... And it's totally free !

* Features :

    - Fast (optimised for 68020+ processors).
    - Compact.
    - Doesn't use MUI, BGUI, Triton, ClassAct or any other GUI interface.
Only system's Gadtools.library, which seems really sufficient (and much more
memory saving)...
    - Allows creation of 16 or 256 grayscale, or 256 colors thumbnails, with
high image quality.
    - 68000 CPU and ECS modes supported.
    - Supports XPK compression.
    - Respects totally the AMIGA system.
    - Customizable.
    - Handles multi-volumes indexes.
    - Capability to update indexes very easily (all is automatic).
    - Very powerful system of actions associated to each picture format.
    - Can also rename/move/delete pictures on disk.
    - Very flexible thanks to the use of datatypes (you can even catalog your
fonts with the font.datatype, for example !)
    - Can export the indexes into various graphic formats.
    - Free !

* Requirements : An Amiga with OS 3.x, fast RAM recommended.

This program is CREATION-WARE (see doc for details)...

* new in version 3.5 :

- Added Popup menus ! (can be disabled ;-))

- Now thumbnails/indexes can be exported in various formats (IFF, PNG, JPEG,
PPM and HTML !! (requires pnmtopng for PNG and cjpeg for JPEG)).

- Added Top/Bottom/Up/Down buttons for lists items ordering ("Define Actions"
and "Define popup menu" windows).

- Now you can move in the indexes with the numeric pad.

- Fixed a bug when Collector tried to access data on deleted files.

- When you were checking thumbnails informations, the "changed" flag was
always set to TRUE, so Collector was always asking for a saving confirmation
before loading/quitting. (thanks to Tristan R. Young)

- Now the "AutoUnselect" works properly (and the infos in the title bar are
updated correctly).

Have fun ! :-)
