Short: Somewhat nicer pieces for Chess 2.0 Author: mjs@infima.cz Uploader: mjs infima cz (Marek Janous) Type: game/board Architecture: m68k-amigaos Since UChess is huge, buggy, updated too often and requiring a lot of resources, and since Vector Chess is so weak that even I can beat it giving it more time to think than to myself, and since I'm not about to spend a lot of money just to play chess occasionally, I use Chess 2.0, an old but good PD program for which few seconds per move on a slow Amiga are enough to squeeze my lazy brain. Just the original pieces don't look very nice, and since the author insisted that we might create our own if we didn't like them, I did. Included in the archive is a quickly a dirty written utility to convert IFF brushes into a suitable ASCII format, as well as example brushes. Enjoy. Marek Janous
