Short: Telnet daemon for AmiTCP: shell over LAN Author: Tor Anders Johansen Uploader: mail toranders com (Tor Anders Johansen) Type: comm/tcp Version: 0.5.2 Requires: AmiTCP or compatible bsdsocket.library Architecture: m68k-amigaos Distribution: Aminet Telnet server for AmiTCP: every connection gets its own AmigaShell over the LAN. New in 0.5.2: - Output-buffer accounting fix: console writes are budgeted by their exact translated size, so output can not be dropped in edge cases. New in 0.5.1: - The console reports the client's real window size: More pages by your terminal height instead of a fixed 24 lines, per session, so concurrent clients with different window sizes each page correctly. Start with NOCONWINDOW for the old fixed behaviour. - Console window bounds reporting for programs that ask for it. New in 0.5.0: - Multi-session: up to 4 concurrent clients by default (MAXSESSIONS=1-8); a client beyond the limit is refused with a clear message instead of hanging. - Line editor with command history (arrow keys), reconnect in about half a second. Earlier versions: console packet fixes (including ACTION_DISK_INFO), dual binaries (68000 and 68020-60), crash-surviving LOG= trace. Usage: telnetd [PORT ] [LOG ] [DUMBTERM] [MAXSESSIONS ] [SHELLSTACK ] [NOCONWINDOW] telnetd 68000 binary (stock A500/A2000; also accelerators) telnetd.020 68020-60 accelerators (compile-verified only) LAN only, no authentication, plaintext: do not port-forward.
